LEAD Event Recap: 5 Resources for Building Your Personal Leadership Brand

On Wednesday, April 1st, over 60 young professionals from companies like BGE, SC&H and Merritt Properties made their way to Montgomery Park to attend the first Leadership Skills Workshop in the LEAD event series. Click Here to view pictures from LEAD events.

Facilitated by expert trainer Gib Mason, Director of the Center for Leadership and Innovation at UMBC Training Centers, Leadership Skills Workshops as a part of the LEAD Initiative will focus on challenging yourself as a leader to build your personal leadership brand, taking risks, embracing failure, and most importantly, cascading influence to move your organization forward in an innovative way.

Founded by The Economic Alliance of Greater Baltimore and Business Volunteers Maryland and in partnership with the Center for Leadership & Innovation at UMBC Training Centers, LEAD will provide young professionals the opportunity to learn about professional growth through skills-based volunteering, meet with area business and community leaders in intimate settings, and participate in workshops and seminars on a variety of professional development and civic engagement topics.
